Wellness & Mindfulness Studio — Est. 2016
Local Connect Hub 7 is a professional wellness and mindfulness studio offering carefully designed classes in meditation, breathwork, yoga, and confidence-building. Our programmes are created to support focus, reduce stress, and develop a sustainable self-care practice — wherever you are on your wellbeing journey.
Local Connect Hub 7 was founded in 2016 by Nadia Worthington, a qualified mindfulness-based stress reduction (MBSR) teacher with a background in positive psychology and over a decade of personal practice. Nadia opened the studio with a clear intention: to create a professional, accessible space where people could develop real, lasting mindfulness and wellness skills.
What began as a single weekly meditation class has grown into a full programme of classes and workshops, serving a community of hundreds of regular students across Bristol and the surrounding area. Our studio on Maple Grove Road is designed to feel calm, focused, and free from distraction — a dedicated space for practice.
We work with a team of six certified instructors, each specialising in different areas of wellness — from breathwork and yoga to confidence-building and self-compassion practice. Every class is structured around measurable skills and meaningful personal outcomes, guided by evidence-informed approaches to wellbeing.
Our classes are structured to build practical skills over time. Whether you are new to mindfulness or deepening an established practice, each session is designed with clear outcomes in mind.
Our introductory mindfulness class covers the core principles and practices of present-moment awareness. This class covers body-scan techniques, breath-based attention, and the foundational concepts of mindfulness-based stress reduction (MBSR).
A structured class focused on conscious breathing practices. This class covers diaphragmatic breathing, box breathing, and 4-7-8 techniques — each designed to support nervous system regulation and mental clarity.
A gentle, slow-paced yoga practice focused on rest, recovery, and conscious movement. Classes incorporate supported postures, mindful transitions, and guided relaxation to support physical and mental restoration.
This six-week workshop is designed to support the development of self-confidence and self-efficacy through mindfulness-informed approaches. This workshop covers cognitive reframing, self-compassion practice, and values clarification exercises.
A structured journalling workshop designed to develop reflective self-awareness. Participants are guided through writing prompts and frameworks drawn from positive psychology and mindfulness to support clarity, perspective, and self-understanding.
An eight-week workshop programme designed to explore and strengthen self-esteem through evidence-based practice. This workshop covers the foundations of self-care, healthy boundaries, and compassionate self-talk, with practical tools for daily life.
Our weekly timetable is designed to offer accessible entry points throughout the day, Monday to Saturday. All times are shown in GMT. Please book in advance to reserve your place.

We are genuinely proud of the community that has grown around Local Connect Hub 7. These are a few reflections shared by our students.
I started the Foundations of Mindfulness class feeling genuinely overwhelmed by work stress, and I had never tried meditation before. The sessions are structured and calm, and Nadia explains everything clearly without any pressure. After eight weeks I noticed a real difference in how I was managing difficult days. I now attend twice a week and it has become a part of my routine that I genuinely value.
The Building Confidence workshop was exactly what I needed at a point where I was changing careers and feeling quite uncertain about myself. Tom is a skilled facilitator — he creates a really constructive group environment and the practical frameworks from the sessions have stayed with me long after the course ended. I came away with a much clearer sense of my own values and a toolkit I still use daily.
Priya's Restorative Yoga classes are a highlight of my week. The pace is considered and the guidance is always thoughtful — she remembers individual students' needs and adapts suggestions accordingly. I started as someone who thought yoga wasn't for me, and I now attend every Thursday morning. The studio itself is beautifully calm and well-maintained. I would recommend Local Connect Hub 7 without hesitation.
I had tried breathwork videos online and never quite got the benefit from them. Marcus's classes are completely different — the structured environment and his clear, unhurried guidance made it possible to really settle into the practice. After a few sessions I noticed I was sleeping much better and feeling more composed during the working day. The lunchtime slot fits perfectly into my schedule.
The Self-Esteem and Self-Care workshop was genuinely transformative for me. Tom and Nadia co-facilitated and the combination of approaches worked really well — reflective journalling alongside the more skills-based sessions gave the programme real depth. I found myself looking forward to every Tuesday evening. The small group size made it feel personal and supportive without being intrusive.
I have tried several wellness studios in Bristol and Local Connect Hub 7 is the one that has kept my attention and commitment over the long term. The programming is thoughtful, the instructors are highly professional, and the booking process is straightforward. I particularly appreciate how seriously the team takes CPD — you can tell that they are genuinely up to date with best practice in their fields.
Whether you have a question about a specific class, would like to discuss which programme might be most suitable for you, or are ready to reserve a place, we welcome enquiries. Our team typically responds within one business day.
